Winter Retreat Recap
This weekend was so amazing for all the students who attended! Our national director, E. Scott Martin, was our guest speaker and called our students to broker their lives for the cause of the Gospel.
On Saturday night, we had an amazing time of worship and prayer as the Lord called us to both confess and renounce any sin that might be in our lives. Many students came forward for prayer and spent extended time at the altar.
One student tweeted on social media, "This has been one of the best, emotional, and awesome weekends of my life."
Another student posted saying, "Can I get a Holy Spirit caffeine patch? I'm so sleepy, but I want to keep going..." (Hey, there are ups and downs with retreat. There's so many awesome people at retreat and incredible things the Lord is doing that people are willing to sacrifice their sleep for it!)
One of our own students, Chris, had a great realization from retreat...
It's moments like these (and many more!) that make doing campus ministry awesome. There is no greater source of joy and awesomeness than to come before God with open hearts and have Him fill them up.
